K, I'm going into 7th grade next month ( our district starts it at 7th, not 6th ) and I was wondering if you guys have any tips for me?

I already bought my clothes, mostly from A&F, Pacsun, American Eagle, Aeropostale, stores like that.

Sooo....any things I should know about jr. high?

:)

  1. be totally out going. dont stress. aha, it isnt worth it. thats what i did, and its nothing. but definately be bubbly and happy and talk to everyone. 7th grade is like the best year. aha

keep your grades up, then you can tutor guys ;] ahaa.

make sure your apperence is good, i hate it when people

say it isnt important, it totally is. and do something with your hair like, almost everyday...not like straighten it everyday...try to have variety.

  2. God get ready for the drama.

  3. Kay, Well I'm going to be an eighth grader;

and Jr High starts in sixth for me.

I was definatly nervous about being in jrhigh then.

but i was shocked to find out;theres nothing to worry about.

You hear about how "You'll Get Shoved Into Lockers" and alot of other c**p.

    Its defiantly not true.

    Get ready for drama,though.

You may have had alot of drama at your elementary school..

but that doesn't compare to jrhigh.

    Not to scare you* haha.

butttt; i promisee you'll be fine..

don't let eighth graders push you around.

Don't pay attention to them either. They may say many things about "Little Seventh Graders" but. . just act like it doesn't bug you and you'll be fine.

Try to get involved with ExtraCurricular activities(:

Thats What i did in sixth.

It helped me meet alot of new people & get on their good side.

    :D, Don't try too hard.

    *BE YOURSELFFF!

The more fake you are, the less friends you'll have.

HAIR; I realize straight hair is in .. You can either go with the flow or start your own,new trend(:

    All in all,

just enjoy yourself don't give into peer pressure .

Don't let the older kids get to you.

    and study.

    you should be fine(:

  4. drama!! get ready for it girl,. it's h**l. but the boys are great ;)

  5. hey i just got out of 7th grade.

    -dont be cynical,

    -dont always think about yourself,

    -never repeat a rumor,

-if you have a problem with your friend ALWAYS try to work it out,

    -always forgive but never forget,

    - just generally be a good person.

-walk to lunch with a friend

-its better to be late to lunch then early (because you might end up sitting down at the 8th grade table then they get all pissy and kick you out)

-lunch is so hectic on the 1st day so pack a lunch

-if you dont know where your class is ask a teacher (its much better then being ten minutes late to class)

-look at the room number before you walk in (may sound cliche but i was in the wrong room for the whole 3rd period)

-try to stay out of the eight grade hallway unless your class is there (they tend to think they are the boss and mess with the 7th graders)

-dont decorate your locker too much (trust me you barely have anytime there)

-for the first day do NOT try out a new hairstyle i repeat do NOT try out a new hairstyle no joke just straighten your hair which is always the best best route

-dont ever get into physical fights

-dont cake on alot of makeup

-KEEP UP WITH YOUR GRADES THEY ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN ANY OTHER THING

-dont study the night before a test study a week before

    - never write anything on the board ;)

-be ready for lots and lots of drama

    -be yourself

    -dont be fake

    -join lots of clubs

    -try to make new friends

if you need anymore help i would be glad to help

  6. be nice to nice ppl and be mean to the ones that are

dont drew on anything negative that ppl say or do because your not going to change them or there opiions

also be open minded and speak freely

  7. Be yourself. Be nice! Never talk about anybody behind there back. Trust me they always find out! Do after school activities like: sports and clubs. Shower everyday, use deoderant and always bring clothes to change in for gym and after gym. Nobody likes smelly girls. Brush your teeth every night and day. Keep up your grades. Trust me the shower, deoderant, change of clothes matters a lot. And guys will notice you more. Hope that helped I just got out of 7th grade! My school district starts at 7th grade too. Oh and be prepared for the older kids (8th and 9th graders) to make fun of you a lot. I'm just telling the truth. They aren't sweet. They make you cry and are really rude. But never let anyone see you cry and don't be mean back to them. JUst ignore them. The first two days are the hardest. It is much more fun then grade school.

  8. be ready to move from class to class instead of being in one class all day.

  9. Prepare for Drama, Drama and more Drama. Its the beginning of your drama filled life and it doesn't end until you have graduated. Jr High, for me, was the best time of my life, new friends, old friends, and lots more freedom. So have fun.

  10. The day goes by faster because you move around for your classes. Its also more fun because you get to see different people and you make more friends. Also, the teachers trust you more because your older.

  11. first of all, in my opinion, brands dont matter.

i think you should think this way too you materialistic little girl.

second of all, stay away from the bad people.

s***s and drggies who arent afraid to swing the first punch.

third of all, dont mess with the music teachers.

    :)

  12. I started Jr. High this year -  don't get overwhelmed by homework :D

  13. There is going to be tons of drama. At least it was dramatic for me. Stupid fights, guys and school work. It's different from grade school. Be prepared for a change. But just make the right choices and keep your grades up and you will do just fine.

  14. 1. Talk to everyone. Don't exclude people because they look a certain way, talk a certain way or dress a certain way (I'm not saying you do that though...).

    2. This is a new year, and try to make it as good as possible. Aim for the highest grades ever, and make a goal to make as many friends as possible.

    3. Don't act stuck up, or s****. (again, not saying you do...). But acting this way is a big turn off for meeting new people. Just be yourself. Crack a few jokes. HAVE FUN!

  15. Ok, here are some great tips to help you!

~I know it sounds cheesey, but don't be afraid to make new friends! I was like, "Nope, My old friends are good enough!" But I acctually made lots of new, really great friends!

~Join lots of co-curricular acctivities!  I am into music, so I had 4-5 music classes a day and It was a blast! You make so many friends, and it keeps you out of trouble! That sounds cliche too, but it gets alot harder!

~Don't get lost in your social life and new freedom!  I know too many former straight A students that let all their goals and grades go.  Its not worth it; they all regret it.

~Stay orginized!  You have no idea how much getting orginized has helped!

~Drama is fun, but don't loose yourself in it!  It drives you crazy one day, the next its fixed and you feel stupid!

    Enjoy Junior High...It's a BLAST!
