Get a Glofish in a 9 gallon Biube?

Im thinking about getting some glofish (geneticaly modified zebra danios) in a 9 gallon Biube. Could ya give me some tips and comments?

  1. It's not really a good idea.  Danios of any type are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6.  These very active fish should have a tank longer than a standard tank for their swimming habit.

    With a BiUbe it may seem all needs are met, but I'd want to know how much the filters cost, and how often they need changed.  This may end up being the largest expense in this system.

    And most people will find they end up wanting more fish.  I don't think a true fish lover/keeper can have too many tanks.


  2. This would look awesome! I had never seen a Biube in person but I know they look great. Danios usually need more space to swim but if you only get 2 or 3 (3 being the amount of variation of colors they come in.) they would be fine. I hope you have fun with this tank!
