i had had my mom's friend teach me to learn how to drive (yes she is over 21 and has a license herself). so far i had learned a lot of things about curves, turns, signs, etc. i also have been studying the texas driving handbook. right now i am 16 but next month i will be 17 and if i continue to do good in these driving lessons, i think i'll take the driving license test.

the question is:

will i be able to get my driver's license at age 17?

  1. Just forget all that I said you will need to go to a driving school since your parents cant teach you. By the way do not tell them you have been driving without a permit that is illegal. You have to hold a permit for six months before you can get a license.  So I'm afraid you may just have to wait until you are 18.  Sorry I just went though all this getting my son a license.

  2. yes u can but u can not at certain times or have any one else under age with u .
