Get a private pilots liscense??

Im 17, just wanted to know tips, or website for this kinda stuff..id like to get into flying

Forget the internet.  Find a phone book.

Find the nearest local flight schools at the nearby airports and visit them all.  Ask about "discovery flights" and the airplanes that they use and the rates that they charge.

Decide what place you feel most comfortable at, and then take a discovery flight or two.

A discovery flight is usually a 30 minute flight where a good instructor will show you what is involved in basic hobby aviation and initial flight instruction.

Sign up for a free 6 month membership and subscription to Flight Training magazine.

Go to your local airport, find out if it has a Fixed Base Operations (FBO) like a flight training school or even a pilot supply shop and ask questions. They will talk to you and help you get started. Depending where you live there are organizations like the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) and they usually have a Young Eagles program to help you become a pilot. Get started now, you could have already been flying by now.
