Get fees waived to reschedule a flight from united airlines one day to see my son graduate from bootcamp?

Its a nontransfurable nonrefundable flight I have begged them for help

but get the run a round they tell me sorry. it will cost $1200 more to change my tickets one day earlier for me and my family to get to Fort Leonard wood, MO I have all ready paid $1600 for the origional flight. PLEASE HELP SOON

No insurance on a really expensive trip.........sorry your fault.........thats how they make their money......

Talk to the passenger liaison that deals with the military. If you get nowhere with that immediately contact your local US congressman or senator's office. They will get you what you want.

i did the same thing to see my brother graduate too. i got the same run-a-around. go talk or call his recruiter. ask for him by name. you want the guy who took your sons case. he will help you find a better deal. and if you push it. he can make the calls for you cuz your immediate family. or ask to talk to the head of the special waiting room they have in your airport for military families. if that doesn't work i have a good travel agent who helps me see my husband in the army and for his family in Brazil. call "Americas Travel" .  we use Mr. Ronaldo. his email is [e-mail]. its based in San Fransisco. but they deal all over the world.  or my step dad has a company. il have to get is info for you tomorrow. il get back to you on that. hope this helps and congrats to your son and good luck.!!!!
