Get in shape? and questions about basketball!?

hi! i play jv basketball last year and this summer all i have done was lay around for 3 months! OUCH! lol and school has started and i have also started to get ready for bball season! i ran a mile yesterday and the day before i plan on it almost everyday maybe everyday....I aslo lift a 5-10 pound weights while i watch t.v and on the days i dont run i do 200 sit ups. do you think i will be fit in time for basketball season??????? if not wat are some more things to do to get into shape? and wat are some ways to make sure i make the varsity team? :D thanks! p.s when does basketball season start? thanks

  1. hmmmm i remember this question, do the same stuff you did in jv basketball, pretty simple. running some miles like 3 a day will help alot., make sure you do some suicides also. Dunno when ur b-ball season starts but my school has tryouts October 30th.

    20 push ups

    lift your weights for about 20 mins.

    300 situps

    shoot 300 shots a day

    dribble for an hour both hands

    dribble and shoot with your weak hand for an hour

    Shoot everyday
