Get nail polish off canvas lampshade?

Hey i got some nailpolish on a canvas lampshade and need to get it off. thanks

Dip a cotton ball into nail polish remover. Lightly dab the nail polish with it. You will probably have to go over it a few times. Then go over it with a soft rag and water to remove any excess nail polish remover.

Try patting with some polish remover. Gently. But I really don't think it will ever come off completely. Sorry
