Get phone line to work?

We moved into a house that had two different phone lines. We canceled one and that line was used in a lot of the rooms of the house. How do I get those phone jacks to work with the one phone line we have now?

Hi Xty:If the wiring was correct for the 2 lines, R/Gn or Blue/white for L1, Yel,Black or Orange/white for L2.I assume that your line is on the the L2 pair at all the jks. GOTO the Dmark outside.Disconnect the Y,Bk or Or/W & connect the R/Gn or Blue/W in their place. This should correct your problem. exbelltel
