Get rid of blue screen. I have a spyware remover did not work

I have a dell dimension 2400. It has worked fine. But recently I had an ad popup on my desktop wallpaper that I need to download a spyware remover. I got rid of that, However now I have the blue screen. My computer works, but when I leave it alone the blue screen popsup and says there is a problem. I unchecked restart and it just goes back to normal. But how do I get it to stop going to the blue screen?

Boot windows in safe mode and try to install antispyware. Do a free scan and find out what kind of infection you have:

Disconnect your computer from the internet

Run vundo

Restart your computer

Run the tool again to ensure no traces are left.

If there are the reboot into Safe Mode and run FixVundo again.

Restart your computer in safe mode.  You can do this by tapping the F8 key when you restart.  Run your anti spyware program.  If the blue screen persists then right click on the desktop and select "properties". From they're click "active desktop" and untick "show web content".  

If the problem keeps happening then you must download a better spyware program.  But DO NOT download any "spyware removers" from pop up advertisements.  These are rogue anti spyware programs.  You need a legit one.

Usually it is in the google package so ether way you can get it.

I just got rid of the blue screen but and entire system is likely corrupted.
