Question:

Get rid of moth invasion ??HELP =[?

is there a houshold solution to getiing rid of moths , i know that we have to find out what tthey are attracted to , then vacum, carpet clean ...ect hang those bug attractors.... but just to get rid of the ones flying around ? like a bowl of soapy water or something .... what atracts them and kills them . .... for the momnet

  1. There is no household solution other than exposure to the cold.  There are things you can purchase which are like fly traps, but for moths.  You hang them around the area, much safer than moth crystals.

Yeah, a bowl of soapy water will get rid of them.  They are atrracted to it, then end up drowning.  Here in Denver, we have Miller moth invasions from time to time as they migrate to the mountains.  They are attracted to light and somehow find their way in through screens or when you enter your house.  Just put a pail or bowl of sapoy water near a light source and that will get rid of them.
