Get rid of pimples-How long with benzoyl wash and pill?

I was prescribed an acne wash (5% benzoyl peroxide) and an antibiotic, and I was wondering how long it might take until I was completely clear. I have moderately bad acne, on my face. I wash in the mornings and evenings with the wash, and take the pill at dinner. After just two weeks, I've seen a difference, but I was wondering how long it took for you.

I think i use something similar to you.

It took me two weeks exactly.  I have horrible acne, so I was thrilled.  My pill is called doxycycline.  o_O

probably 2 - 3 weeks. its good that you've started seeing progress already. make sure you're drinking lots of water. doxycycline is an antibiotic and if you dont drink enough water, it wont be able to completely absorb into your blood stream and wont be able to do its job. if you dont get the results you want after about 6 weeks, ask your doctor to prescribe a higher % benzoyl peroxide or pill. hope this helps!
