Question:

Get to South America for cheap?

I'm interested in traveling this summer with a friend to South America, the only problem is the airfare is way too expensive. Right now a round-trip ticket to Lima, Peru is looking like $800 from Atlanta, Georgia! I want to go, but this price is way too much. Any suggestions on maybe flying to a country closer and then traveling to Peru that way, or I heard of some type of guerilla travel site that allows you to buy tickets two days in advance for real cheap, or really just any other plan that you can think of that will get me to Peru for around $600!

  3. No one really goes to Peru so you may not find anything cheap. Go to the link I have provided you to see the airline that fly to Quito. Go to each of their websites and search until you find something reasonable.

  4. Find out the bus fare (Greyhound) from Atlanta to Miami. It is cheaper but tiresome than air travel. It takes days. From Miami flights are always available specially on AERO PERO. There are also other airlines going to Peru.Reaching Peru from say Mexico by land is possible but DANGEROUS. Those I talked with boarded freight trains. I do not think you can find  a cheap airline ticket nowadays.Have a happy trip!! Bon voyage.
