  1. I presume Mick is a friend, a pet or someone you heard was ill. I'am sure we all wish them Well sooner than soon.

  2. Full agreement.

He is such a character, I often think he plays 'dumb' a bit as to his horse prospects in a race without being too sneaky if you see waht I mean.I think some other trainers could take a lweaf out of his book for being down to earth.

If I see him getting interviewed and he's playing down  horses chances I always have a good look.

I read that the blood stock agent who  was killed bought Katchit.

To see the massive potential in a horse that size must have been quite an achievement.

I hope to see Mick back soon.

  3. I only saw it last night on the racing post website, it was a terrible shock.

I saw him last Saturday at Newmarket Races saddling up Championship Point and Halicarnassus in Duke of Marmalades race.

So sad that he has lost a lifetime friend and business associate Tim Corby, it will take him a long time to get over this, but thankfully Mick's 15 year old son only sustained cuts and bruises and was allowed home.

Get well soon Mick, we are all thinking of you...xx

  4. Yep, very sad indeed.  My best wishes to one of racing's many characters, for a speedy recovery.  And sympathies at the loss of a close friend.

  5. I agree, my local paper covered the story last night in Southampton as he is one of our legends. Such a shame his good pal died, just hope he pulls through ok.

  6. Agreed there fellow.
