Getaway this weekend - relax and escape the heat from Phoenix?

We have been working real hard lately and I want to take my wife someplace this weekend.

A) Out of the intense heat

B) Quiet relaxation

C) Pretty surroundings

D)Spanish motif would be great

E)Being naughty wouldn't be out of the question

Are you wanting to stay in AZ? If not then Santa Fe, NM would be a great place to go, it has everything on your list. Google it and check it out for yourself.

How about Sedona - two hours away, then there is Pinetop/ Showlow, then there is Canyon de Chelly, then there is New Mexico

Find someone who isn't using their time share condo in Pine, AZ and rent it from them for pennies.  Cool and beautiful and quiet.  There is a bulletin board at many of the resorts with info. Or rent a cabin in Christopher Creek for a week. Not much to do but walk along the creek and comment on how it's not 108 degrees. /

Prescott area is pretty, with some nice hotels that are relaxing.  Ck out the Comfort Inn just south of Prescott on 89.  Its in the trees and it has a nice hot tub outside, we spent a week there when we moved here 9 yrs ago, and have returned for a weekend to the hotel just to getaway like you want, even though we live in Prescott Vly, we still like a romantic getaway once in a while.  And ck out this little spanish restaurant called "El Goto Azul" . excellent and tiny and nice outdoor seating.  as far as being naughty, can't ya do that anywhere?  hehehehe
