  1. If you can awnser yes to these questions...go for it:

Can you give the bird atleast 2 hrs a day?

Can you afford the vet bill if something happends?

Where you live is it ok for them?

can you spend atleast $70 on food and cage and toys(they need alot of toys)

They need to be fed and waterd everyday.

    Google them and read everything!!!

They are fun little things but need lots of care. And if you cant spend atleast 2 hrs get 2 budgies.

  2. Hi,

Sounds good but if you are going to buy one from a petshop and especially at that price then ask to handle it before you buy to make sure that it is tame as most pet shop birds aren't and they just want your money and thats it. Sounds good about cutting its wings but its not really needed i would do it for the first three months just so the bird gets used to you and doesn't fly off but after that i don't think that its needed and i never recomend it.

  3. yea go for it even if its hand fed it may take some time for you guys to get used to eachother i have had lots of experience with conure's and  and budgies they take time and pacience.(my pacience are gone because of these birds lol) also i recomend you put your hand in the cage to see if any bird automaticly climbs on you if it does  get it no matter the color or behavior get it it will be your friend forever.
