Alright so after not smoking weed for 2 years I ****** up in Mexico during a vacation with a bunch of friends. I smoked 3 joints over the course of 5 days(this was 6 days ago). I want it out of my system as fast as possible due to the nature of my job. I'm a physical fit male and i weight 152, I go to the gym almost everyday and work out. Does anyone know how long it stays in your system if you are very Active?

  1. 3 days to 3 weeks... you can get some goldenseal.  It is an herb sold in vitamin stores that is highly alkaline.  You can also drink lots of water and cranberry juice.  I wouldn't worry though, just keep drinking lots of water, be active, and stay away from it.  Well, unless of course you would need it medicinally, that is always a consideration.

Uh, honestly, the person above me doesn't know squat.  It will not take more than one month, I am sure.  And I have failed a drug test before, and smoked very little, and I told them second hand smoke, and trust me, if it shows up in your system, they realize it is NOT from second hand smoke.  There is no way that person worked in a lab, they do not know what they are talking about.  Please do your research, and you will see, only three weeks to a month at the most for you, and you will be free of the THC.

  2. It’s estimated that THC can have a half life that ranges anywhere from 1-10 days. It’s almost impossible to find out what that half life is, which means that it is very difficult to use it to calculate how long it will take for all of the THC to leave your body. For this reason, when you ask “How long does marijuana stay in your system?” you have to realize that it’s very unlikely that you’ll be able to get a usable answer. The most common period of time is anywhere from 3-30 days, depending on your metabolism and the amount of marijuana that you’ve smoked. This is unfortunate, since it means that while most drug tests can only turn up evidence of other drugs if you’ve been taking the drug within a few days of the drug test, marijuana could still be detected in a urine test up to a month after the last time it is used. If you smoke it occasionally it will remain in your system for up to 10 days. If you smoke marijuana on a regular basis it will stay in your system for as long as 45 days, and if you smoke marijuana at a constant pace, it can stay in the body for 90 days, Marijuana is fat soluble. It stores in the fat cells of the body, the brain, the liver, the kidneys, in other words the major organs.

  3. Three months.

It takes a long time to get that stuff out.  I know this because I worked at a pathology lab.

A couple of joints won't be a problem though.  Just plead the "second hand smoke" defence and hope for the best.
