Geting caught on camera?

If a criminal comits a crime on camera like stealing or evading the police and they get away with it, Can the police track them down using the cars plates and still charge the criminal with the crime.

That's why they put the cameras there.  Are you stupid AND a criminal?  Stupid criminals usually have pretty short careers and long stretches of time with things in their rears, if you get my drift...

yes, chicago does that with toll road offenders and work zone speeders.  if its on film its good for the law

Indeed they can. In fact, if someone steals your car, robs a bank, and then brings your car back, if the robbery was caught on camera & they saw your plate number, YOU are going to jail for the robbery unless you have a good lawyer and a solid alibi!
