  1. Okay depends on when you want to go?  If you go in May you can get some cheap flights but its still a little rainy but sunny.  Summer is more expensive but you can get some flights for maybe 750.00 round trip.  Go to Kayak.com they are good at really searching for the cheapest tickets.  I prefer going American Airlines.  Make sure you save your flyer miles to and from Ireland is good for a another ticket round trip and only paying 49.00 RT.  Cool  also ask your friends and family if anyone has any advantage mileage to give you some.  To help toward your fare.

Boarding is pretty expensive no matter where you go.  If you want to go to Galway stay  in Salthill near the ocean cheaper than staying in town and its a nice 10 min walk to town.  Good ocean breeze.

Also check out the B and Bs run from 25 to 55.00 EURO a night depending where you are.  But even the cheap ones are beautiful.

Most of the hotels and b and bs give a free full Irish breakfast included in your room let me tell you its a lot of food and some hotels have a buffet style.

Check out Ireland rail system too they have good 5 fday pass fares to ride train.

  2. check out aer lingus web site for great air fare deals the best are bought direct from their site as for lodging you would do best in "cheap' price area with a hostel or a B'nB but those are getting expensive now too try to go in the off season late winter to spring (end of Jan to April) also fly on a week day (Tues through Thurs) best o f luck you will have a great time a second thought you could rent a holiday home during the off season those a re bargain off peak but cost of living is very high everywhere in Ireland. Not much in "cheap" in Ireland anymore.* just realized i

answered your other question the same way! sorry! i highly recommend KLM for cheap airfare, but they are not #1 on reliability so if you are a bit flexible it really helps, we fly klm because they almost always overbook so they look for people to get 'bumped' to the next flight which is great! you get either a free fround trip ticket or the slightly less than equivalent in cash! plus you normally get pushed up to business class! so for us KLM is the best option we dont mind waiting and extra few hours for our flight we just plan to have and extra bag (disposbale plastic or paper) for the airport with snacks and drink so we dont spend a bunch while we are waitning and then toss it before we hop on the next flight and if the next flight say skips a meal dinner or lunch they give you a coupon for a free meal each at the airport and if its the last flight of the day you miss htey give you hotle and meal vouvhers great deal if you ask me :-) good luck hope you find and awesome deal! also i lkie klm because they list the cheapest times to fly if you put in the dates they show a calendera dn highlight in different colors the price of each flight for each day so you can select the cheapest day even if it is a week off from what you originally put in.
