Gettin a 360,i have wireless internet, how to get it to 360 when 360 is upstairs and computer is downstairs?

i dont want to get the adaptor i want to know if you can get the internet to the 360 without pluggin it into the computer which is downstairs and 360 is upstairs, no no pluggin into computer or expensive adaptors can i get wireless signals into the adaptor and plug the 360 into it i have a spare adaptor in my room

nope. youll need either a wireless adapter for the 360, a computer near the 360 with internet access or a really long ethernet cable.

I have wireless in my home (router on 2nd floor) and Xbox in basement.  I get a perfect signal through the wireless adapter I plugged into the Xbox.  During set-up, it'll see your wireless router, and walk you through setting it up.  Very easy to do.

nope there is 3 ways to connect your pc to the xbox, Modem connection, which is connecting the etherenet to your modem then to you xbox, Router connection, which goes from the modem to the router to you xbox, or Gateway connection. So either way you HAVE to have a connection between pc and xbox.
