Question:

Getting Back In to the Marine Corps After Being Dropped For Medical Reasons In Boot Camp

My husband is a Marine, but this question has nothing to do with him haha. His sister decided she wanted to be a Marine too (an impulse, not planned at all) and so she DEPed in and went in after 6 months of being a poolee. Close to the end of second phase she was sent to medical and diagnosed with asthma. She could have fought it, but didn't and got sent home with a medical discharge. She didn't have to pay back anything at all, which was good. Now she wants to go back in. We don't think it's possible since she is medically diagnosed and if it was she would have to jump through a lot of hoops. She isn't exactly all there if you know what I mean, she doesn't think things through and has ridiculous long term goals (one of them was becoming a pro soccer player, she's 21 O_o). Is there a process? Is it even possible?

  1. First off it suck's to get medically discharged from the millitary you feel like trash that nobody wants.Second if she wants to be back in she'll need a WAIVER and sorry to say but chances are like a snoball fight in a microwave. The millitary would be contradicting themself by taking her back after discharging her know what i'm saying?.
