Getting Caller Id information using AT Commands for BSNL line in India?

I'm using Conexant PCI SoftV92 Modem........BSNL Line connected with that..........Caller Id was enabled with my connection.......My modem is Voice modem it supports caller id function too....I need to show the number of the incoming call through my PC...I want to make my PC as Telephone...I used AT commands to check for the Caller Id display....When i used the command AT+VCID=1 in Hyper Terminal of my PC...I'm getting OK response but when i get incoming call i'm not getting the number....I've posted in many Forums....i came to knew that in India the calls are coming as DTMF...and the caller id in India is working by converting DTMF to FSK format...There is an converter used to do this DTMF to FSK Conversion...tried with that also....but i'm not getting Positive Result..Can u give me any other idea that will help me to get the result...its some what urgent for me to finish this task...So please help me....

  1. i you allredy have the CID faclity in your tele phone it will also

    work with your pc other wise please right a letter for the CID faclity to your service provider then only you get this faclity


  2. DTMF is FSK only

    you may not get the correct response, i also had same type of modem and it never worked as caller id apart from that being electronics guy i tried other ways also, not so lucky then i tried one software with which it did work like it would display number also record the conversation and sort of auto respond.the trial version gives one week time only.

    But other softwares say if your modem response is coming that numbers are displayed in hyper terminal then only their softwares / GUI will display.
