I will soon recieve my GCSE results, what i was wondering is what happens if i dont get the required results for the specific subject i chose for A-level. Do i have to chose another subject in which i got better results or will the school not accept me?

  1. I think it depends on the particular sixth form/college you are planning on going too.  I think most will accept you if you get roughly near the results you need to do a certain a level subject.  A few pehaps grammar schools may not allow you to do the a levels you wanted.

However they will therefore try to find a subject you do have the grades to do etc.

When you ring your college/sixth form to confirm your results you can discuss it with them then I imagine.  Hope this helps :)

Good luck with your gcse results!
