  1. I use the tape trick for cat hair and other loose stuff, but if you are talking about pilling (little balls), then try using an electric shaver type device made especially for that (they work well), or what I used to do before they made those is to carefull shave the bits off with a plastic shaver (the manual kind).

  2. Things You'll Need:

    Masking Tape

    Or

    Cellophane Tape

    Step1

Lay out the garment on a bed or any clean surface.

    Step2

Place several fingers together and wrap either masking tape or cellophane tape around them. Make sure the sticky side faces outward.

    Step3

Pat the lint-covered areas of the garment with the sticky tape.

    Step4

Replace the tape with a fresh supply when you notice that it's covered with fuzz and lint; if it's no longer sticky, it won't be effective anymore.

It's best to "de-lint" before donning the garment so that you can make sure you've removed lint from the front and back.

    Or try this....

    Things You'll Need:

    Tape

    Pumice stone

    Tweezers

    Step1

    Lay the sweatpant down flat.

Take a large piece of tape and wrap it around your hand, sticky side away. Press your "taped" hand on the sweatpant and then pull it off to remove the loose lint balls.

Repeat this all over the sweater. You may need to apply fresh tape to your hand.

    Step2

Roll a pumice stone gently over the sweatpant.

The stone should remove most if not all of the lint balls.

    Step3

Use tweezers or your hand to remove any remaining lint balls. Tweezers seem to work better because you don't lift off as much material as when using your hand.

You can find a pumice stone at all major discount stores in the foot product aisle (see resources).

Be very careful with a pumice stone as it can tear holes in the sweatpant

  3. You should try washing them by themselves or without something that gives lint. Also use a dryer sheet! I take it they are black? The inside fibers are probably doing the damage ie. causing lint. Maybe if you wash them inside out they will not be so full of lint. Other than that, try a different brand lint roller. I've had some that were cheap and didn't remove more than one stroke of lint and the sheet was full. I've had a professional one $4, that can remove a lot of lint (stickier than others) before tossing a sheet. Good luck!

  4. Try using packing tape to get them off. If it doesn't work. Most grocery stores carry clothes shavers, that will get them right up. I know Wal-Mart has them by the irons.
