Getting Mac Samples...?

At a MAC store can you just ask for sample?? And if you, are they free?

The stores are actually encouraged NOT to give you samples, because people sell them on ebay and stuff. They will however give great tips on what colors would look good on you.

they give you REAL MAC makeup samples for very cheap, most under $5 so you can try which ones you are looking at to buy and the sample is more than you think would be in there. Well worth it!
