I'm Canadian, and the Canadians won't give me enough meds for the duration of my vaction, its retarded. So when I'm in south america how do I get meds there? like how does it work exactly? and how much would it cost? like do i have to pay $10 to see a doctor to write me a prescription and $10 to buy the meds at the pharmacy? :S are doctors and meds cheaper in 3rd world countries? so would it be easier to get them there than here?

  1. I know Colombia is now becoming a Medical Tourism spot as not only do they have specialised and inexpensive 'make over' centrers (Diego Armando Maradona is there for the second time - for a dental cleanup), but also they make their medications as opposed to just importing everything like Ecuador does.

Bayer, Sanofi, Bristol Mayers Squibb, Pzier all have Andine Region HQs in Colombia.

  2. Be wary of buying drugs from other countries. They might be made with other ingredients and they might be trying to pass it off as the original thing. Don't Buy Into This. It could harm you more than help you.
