Getting Privat Pilots license in Ga?

Question

I just turned 16 and am interested in getting my Private pilots license. I would like to get to the Air Force Accademy, but i really want to start flying sooner. I just want to know how to get started, how much it will cost, and so on. I'm in Civil Air Patrol, and have gotten a little bit of flight experience through that. If anyone lives in Ga, do you know of a good flight school? Thanks!

Where in GA are you? I got mine at PDK (Peachtree Dekalb) there are about 6 different schools just at PDK let alone other airports throughout the state.
