Getting Rid of Beauty Mark Scar?

I had a beauty mark on my chest and I got it removed by a doctor. After I kinda scratched it a bit (big mistake) because I got itchy there. So then I got a pinkish scar there (the size of a pencil eraser). Do you think I could get rid of this scar by a doctor? The doctor said he could use a needle and it would make my scar more smaller but not regular skin. He said it's not guaranteed so I'm really afraid.

If not, what other ways? Could I use cream or something? Concealer didn't work for me...

Btw, I've had this scar for almost 3 years now. I got it removed around in 2006. So I've had this scar for a long time now.
