Getting Sony Vegas?

I really like editing movies and video, and I really wanted to get Sony Vegas 6, 7, or 8. I don't have much money so I can't afford it. Is there any safe way I can get it online for free? Thanks for your help.

Sony Vegas is not freeware and downloading an illegal copy is stealing. Vegas became such a good program because people buy the program and the revenue supports its continued development. Please don't become one of those people that justifies stealing by saying you don't have much money. That excuse wouldn't work if you stole the actual cash and got caught. It is the same when you steal software.

That said, you might find that the Vegas Movie Studio version which has many of the features of the full Vegas program will work just fine for you. I use it and it gives me plenty of what I need. If you need HD, you'll have to get Vegas Movie Studio Platinum.

Vegas Movie Studio goes for about $70 on Amazon.com One of their marketplace sellers currently has it for $42 including shipping.  The Platinum version goes for about $100 on Amazon.com. From time to time, there are rebates that will knock $30 or more off the price of Vegas.
