Getting a brand new 08 GTI - what mods should I get?

For a GTI, what are the best mods if I only have 2,000 dollars to spend (besides rims and tint)?

With $2,000, you can get CoilOvers, Cold Air Intake, and maybe an exhaust system too if you get a cheap Exhaust and cheap Coilovers.

If you have $100-250 left, then get a strut bar.

Coil overs are adjustable springs. You can lower or raise the car whenever you want.

Lowering it 0.5 an inch will improve handling. Lowering it more than that or raising it will hurt the handling.

Strut Bar makes car more rigid. It might already come with this. Strut Bars make the car more rigid and better for handling, but less comfortable.

A Cold Air Intake on a turbocharged car like GTI would add lots of power. Maybe close around 15-20HP.

Exhaust system will add 10-15HP.
