  1. For one thing, i have a love, a passion for the game, so I have to be completely burnt out to need any motivation other than that....and after this season, I AM burnt out and it's hard to get to the gym...but here's what I think about it....what are my teammates doing? How hard are THEY working?? The team is as strong as its WEAKEST player...do you want to be that person? Do you want to feel like you're holding the team back? Work as hard as you would want your teammates to be working. That's how you get places....if that STILL doesn't do it for you, then think about how good it will feel to walk off the pitch KNOWING that you improved, knowing that you played one AMAZING game....push yourself....and finally....if worse comes to worse, think of one person that really made you mad this year and work out to "smash" them in your first game....if all that fails, im sorry, i have no more ideas :(....Good luck!!!! the pre-season WILL determine the kind of player you are and can be....

  2. This is the only way it works for me:

I work out in the morning before work. It's not always what I want to do but I found that I if I didn't work out first thing then I'd more often than not find an excuse not to do it.

I pack my stuff for work in a back pack the night before, when I wake up I put my gym clothes on and head out the door for the gym. I picked a gym that is on the way to work so I need to  pass it on the way.

    Good luck.
