Question:

Getting a driver's permit: school enrolllment form?

I went to get a driver's permit today, and when I passed the test, I found out I had to have a school enrollment form to actually get my permit (learner's license). I had the rest of the required: birth certificate, etc.

They said you need a report card. I found a report card from October 2007, which was the first report card during the first semester of this school year. Do you think the License Department will accept it, even though my last report card (my second one) was in December? That is, will they be picky.

  1. I didnt need that. I think you just got an idoit at the DMV that didnt know what they were doing....which isn't surprising.

  2. Maybe if try to get a ladie at the service table they tend to let thing slide more then guys

    if they wont acept

Just ask the school or your counsler if he/she could print out your last report card

  3. no latest report card only

  4. I never had this problem, cause when I applied for my permit I was 18 years old. Actually that was last September.

  5. d**n burecrats... They COULD HAVE given you your permit right then!

I would take whatever documentation that proves youre in school. I think that a report card from this school year should suffiace. If they give you a hassle, just ask to speak to their supervisor.
