im still way too young to get a gun, im just planning ahead :)

but after over 4 years of air pistols and air rifles i really want to get into owning a real gun and joining a shooting range.

i really like the glock 19, i have it in air pistol form :), and after shooting it for real as a 9mm in a range in america, florida, my heart is set on owning one as soon as possible.

when i turn the minimum age for owning one what will i have to do inorder to own one and anything important i should know about the gun or anything would be very much apricated

  1. you cant own handguns in the UK unless ur a collector. in 1986 a deranged lunatic went on a shooting spree in the UK and killed 16 ppl including woman and children

  2. Firstly, you need to join a registered gun club and once you have proved your self as honest, trustworthy and of course a regular member of the club you can apply. Once the police have checked you and your security cabinet etc. you will be granted an FAC. As far as any handgun is concerned you are out of luck in the UK... They are banned.

  3. Do not get a crimial record or you are wasting your time.

  4. Do it the easy way, move to a free country.

Depending on who gets to be our next president, the USA may quickly cease being a free country so have a back-up destination in mind.

  5. Forget the Glock, any pistol is banned. But join a target shooting club and get experience and then if you enjoy it apply.

  6. You need to apply for a firearms certificate.

Unless you are a farmer or member of a gun club your chances are slim.

You also need to have a special gun cabinet fitted in your house which the police can come and inspect at any time.
