  1. i'd get a turtle instead.

  2. i know someone who has a pet frog. it uses a very basic fish tank with water only about 2 inches deep. in needs to be cleaned every few days, but they are pretty low maintenance and cheap to maintain. many frogs also have very long lifespans. they one i know of is over 10 years old.

  3. We have had our African Clawed Frog for count em 7 years.  He lives in a tank.  He doesn't need land or anything.  He eats the pellet fish food.  He is so east to  take care of and no he can't cause "warts"  I thought that was toads anyways??

  4. be careful , frogs urinate and cause  warts ,

  5. bad idea

  6. i dunno most kid want a pet they can hold and u cant hold amphibians as they absorb the chemicals and salts on yours skin an this can harm them even kill them.

there are some species of from once set-up correctly and kept clean are pretty hardy but i still wouldnt say there good pets for young children

if u really must get her one try either a dwarf clawed frog or fire belly toad (fire belly toads have quite a strong skin toxin that can sting/burn if it gets into eyes or cuts tastes awful and if a lot is ingested can cause symptoms akin to food poisoning)
