Getting a good start in the World T20 is important, says http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RG-Sharma-c2309 – Cricket News Update
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World T20 2012 and starting the tournament well is going to be extremely important, if India have any chance of lifting
the trophy.
The mega-event is about to commence today in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Afghanistan-c745 at Colombo.
Having won the tournament’s inaugural edition in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 respectively.
India’s preparation for the World T20 has not been great, where they lost the T20 International against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 earlier this month at home before putting uninspiring performances in the two warm-up matches on Lankan soil.
With an extra-ordinary batting line-up in the presence of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028, the Men in Blue still remain amongst the favourites to clinch the
illustrious event.
However, their bowling has been a major concern, which was badly exposed in the warm-up fixture against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 on Monday. On top of that, India’s opening pair, Gambhir and Sehwag, has not been in great tough off-late.
Sharma, who himself has been out of form this year but looked impressive in the warm-up matches, backed the seasoned openers to come good in the mega event.
“Getting a good start is important,” said Sharma. “They have been batting really well, there is no doubt about that. I am sure that in the coming games, when the actual tournament starts, they will come good. They have experience playing
in these conditions and it is just a matter of one game, and we are right in it after that."
While commenting on the bowling line-up, the 25-year-old cricketer expressed that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Z-Khan-c98379 and company have been doing well in recent times and one should expect them to deliver the goods in the official matches.
He added, “I don't want to take any credit away from them. They have been bowling really well. I am sure they will come on well as the tournament progresses."
