Getting a haircut tonight (pic)?

okay so i want to get my layers trimmed but keep most of my length because im trying to grow my hair out

i also need my ends to trimmed

how do i make it clear to my stylist to cut alot off my hair? because i telll her exactly what i just said but she ends up cutting to much off

Is there any way that I can talk to you about having my hair get that long. And what all did you do?

And you just want your hair trimmed? Are you able to do that yourself, so that it won't be much of a hassle to ask your stylist to do it since she cuts so much off.

After you wash your hair and comb it to detangle it, and then get a pair of cuts and cut it yourself, its easier with wet hair.

If you still want to ask her, I would specify right before, that you want this done, right before she cuts it, just so you guys are on the same page and no misunderstandings.
