A subway near me is hiring, I'm pretty sure I'll get the job since they want a full time employee. I'm just trying to save money up for college is all.

Anyways, what exactly do you do there. And how much is their minimum wage??

  1. You will either make sandwiches or be the clerk The minimal wage is whatever it is in your state. For example, if you live in Ohio, the min wage is $6.85.

  2. I don't know

  3. i think you clean up the like tables and that kind of stuff.

or you may make the grinders and ring them up on the cash

    register. MAKE THE CASHHHHH.

  4. make subways, min wage $6.54

  5. hey college kid, I was given great advice when I was in high school, never ever work in fast food industry. dont do it. get the lawn mower out and start your own business while in college, you will make a h**l of a lot more money and you are your own boss. find a pool ,b e a life guard but dont work at subway. a golf course is good start too, many people looking for college age kids to employ.

  6. Like most places you will probably not only have to make subs but you will have to learn to use the cash register, bake the bread and bake the cookies, mop the floor, clean tables, stock supplies, and sometimes even clean the bathrooms.  Minumum wage depends on where you live.  I heard it's not that hard to move up to manager at fast food places so good luck !

  7. it opens at like seven and if you're a junior (under 18) you can't be left alone in the store

you'll be working close shifts with a junior though, but opening shift only requires one person

all you do is put the ovens on, bake the bread and cookies, do a food prep chart, so that when the junior comes in at 9, they have something to do

there's washing up, till collecting and serving customers, which sucks because customers are always fickle and annoying

the minimum wage is $6.70 or something

but you get time and a half n thursdays and saturdays and double pay on sundays

though it depends how old you are. if you're over 18 working full time, you'll get a MUCH better pay than the minimum wage.

it's a pretty good job though. you get free food and there's little effort required. just long hours and annoying customers

  8. My brother worked at Subway while he was in college.  He started out making like $9 something an hour and he quickly became a shift supervisor and was making almost $12 an hour.  But, that was in Illinois.
