  1. Been there done that..struggled as well after college--I did some volunteer job just to get more experience..No pay--but after a year..I got a job..you need them for your reference too--so better start some volunteer job for your field (IT)

  2. Firstly you are not a failure, it can be tough I agree, however have you tried volunteering to work for a company for a short period i.e. a week...that will demonstrate your enthusiasm and will give you the opportunity of showing and learning new skills.  With this approach someone out there will want to give you a chance!

    Good Luck

  3. check out my avatar, or try fudging your resume a bit, everyone does, if you had any hands on work during college it would go done as volunteer work and list everything you did, also try to network with some people that work at these places or smoosh the front desk personel, go in once a week and keep a smile all times and inquire about job, also expand your search, some of the bussiness's are owned by people who live out of state and they don't tell you about a large application process, some companies only hire from with in and you may have to get a lower job and keep checking with personel and see when one opens in your field and apply for it. And during all this do not stop looking at web and local, once you secure a job for income you can keep looking.
