  1. the problem is microsoft

  2. Being a computer tech, I'm a pretty early adopter in terms of new techie stuff. I've had Vista for a little over a year now and I've never had a specific Vista related problem. I think it's getting a lot more negative press than it deserves. Vista has a beautiful design, and is a much more powerful operating system than it's predecessors. For college, Vista should do everything you would need an operating system to do and then some.

  3. I just got a new Compaq laptop from Sam's Club with vista about 2 months ago...I was nervous too but I love it and only had a minor minor flaw with my kodak easy share software.  It would change my one color scheme temporarily when I ran the program but then would automatically change it back when I closed the programm.

  4. No. I hate vista!!!!! Instead of Vista you can install XP for about 90.00. Here is some bad problems: 1.It has annoying ding when you install or run stuff. 2.It does not respond alot. 3.Can't use all XP programs. It is horrible. It is a nightmare.  XP and Mac is better that vista. I recommend a Macbook Pro. If you buy a Mac right now it comes with a free iPod. It has great stuff and user-friendly interface. You can run Vista or any other OS on a Mac. You can do great video projects with iMovie.

  5.      I have a laptop with vista and have had for about a year. I haven't had any problems with it so far. The only thing I would suggest is to stick with the old microsoft office, the new format is awkward to use.
