Getting a motorcycle permit with only a driver's permit?

I live in Minnesota, and i only have a driver's learning permit. I would like to get a motorcycle permit, but can I get yet?

hey i live in mn too but u should get ur licence and then it will be a whole lot easier with the people if u say that u have ur licence besides u have to ne way

Take a motorcycle begginers course, they not so expensive. Then you're on your way to a license. All you have to do is pass a test  and it should be as simple as a drivers permit test. All else, why you ask the (DMV) Department of Motor Vehicle.

You have to get a motorcycle license. there is no such thing as a motorcycle permit.
