Getting a new drum set question?

ok so im getting a new drum set and im kinda curious about what kind to get. i have had some experience on a pas drums set i had and when i asked my drummer friends they said to get either Yamaha, Pacific, or Drum Workshop. So i was wondering what others would reccomend for a budget of $700-800 (mabey more if my parents lighten up...) (they bought by sis a $1000+ flute for god sake...)

  1. TAMA is another brand thats pretty durable with great sound as well.

    The other Yahoo Answerer is right too. Tama is good stuff too.

    but also look into Tama, DDrum, Pearl and Ludwig drumkits too.
