I'm switching from gas to smoothtop electric. Now, don't preach to me. I know that gas is better in the cooktop but the gas we have here has something in it that discolors our stove top (Maytag, bisque colored unit) and it's a *royal* b*tch to clean.Anyhow, I'm leaning toward Maytag again because other than the cleaning problem I really like the unit. I'm not sure if they have the feature where on one side of the top that you can turn the whole side into one burner (with heating between the two "normal" burners).Anyone know or have any other suggestions that I may like better?Oh, and no I don't want one with two ovens. I already have two ovens and do not need three... ;-)-- Steve
