Getting a ninja zx-6r 2007 as a first bike?

Question

anyone passed the road test, and started riding on a performance bike. i've been practising motocross on tracks for 2 years now and iam pretty sure a street bike is different

Street bikes are totally different, handling wise. But having rode dirt bikes will definitely help. Just remember, at high speeds on a street bike you turn the handlebars the oppisite way you want to turn. Sounds weird, but its true!

I've done both and street bikes are very different... but if you have the basics of riding down, you'll pick it up pretty quickly.

It's not too bad, but I'd take a safety course... They really do help!

Good choice for your first bike, too! (Although personally, I would have went with a Honda... They're better for beginners in learning how to corner)

Would not recommend your choice.Try a wee Aprilia RS125.
