Getting a playbill signed

Is there a certain etiquette for getting your playbill signed after the show? Like do they tell you to go stand outside and wait...or do you just have to hurry up after it ends and go outside and wait for the actors to come out? Thanks.

  1. Nobody's going to announce where to go after the show to get autographs.  Just wait outside the stage door with the rest of the autograph seekers.  Most actors will take the time to autograph playbills or posters.

  2. After the show, you can go to the stage door and get your playbill signed by the actors and actresses who come out. Not all come out as there are multiple exits for each theater (I know Legally Blonde has at least 2 entrances/exits). Ask an usher where the stage door is as it differs for each theater. A lot of the actors/actresses will pose for pictures if you ask for them. :)
