My friend named Mary is a really great singer, and she wants a record deal. she asked me to help her get info on trying to get one. so can anyone help me?

Go to an American Idol audition?

It is really-really hard.  Try to get a singing job (Clubs, Vegas, Cruises, Broadway, etc.) to prove she can sing and then try to find an agent.
