  1. Yeah, this is a common question on here, and i always reccomend the same thing.  A skateboard in Wlamart, or Target is never good, not even as a short term thing.  If you are going for a cheap board to either try out before you start the sport, or just for other reasons, get a Mini-Logo, ATM, or Blank Deck.  These are very good quality boards, maybe on a scale of one to ten only .5 underneath an average pro ($65 board.)  These are almost half the price as well at $35.  They will be a little bit more money then the one youre thinking of but ALOT less than a pro board.  You should really check it out, from there you can look for cheaper wheels and trucks, if youre looking for cheap bearings also, go for Halos, there pretty average, and 10 dollars.  For 5 dolars more though, you can get Bones Reds bearings and they are one of the ebst cheap bearings you can get.

    Good Luck =)

  2. NO! those boards suck!

i would recommend a skate shop.

    like zumiez or something.

baker is a really good board.

  3. i don't think getting a skateboard at target is good. i got one like a couple years ago and it doesn't even move!

you should try getting a skateboard at an actually skateshop.

you could get some cheaps ones online.

if you have a budget you could get some speed demons, not really good but it's super way better than target!

  4. no I would just buy one from a regular skating store or online. targets have no pop and the wheels never spin and the grips always dead and there always super heavy

    GOOD LUCK HOPE THIS HELPED

  5. If you are just starting and you don't mind possibly snapping your trucks, then it's fine.

If you have been skating for a while (which I doubt since you are asking this) then I would not recomend a target skateboard.

    Hope this helps!

  6. Well i started off with a Big Five board and  it worked great for just learning to stop and turn and ollie but nothing else. I would go to your local shop and get one of there boards if they don't have that then ask for a blank deck. Your local shop boards and blanks will usually be around 20 to 25$ plus like around 1-2 $ for grip. I would say thats the cheapest board you can get with it being crappy and weak. Your local shop boards are just like a pro board the graphic is just different.

  7. no! dont ever do that. go right to a skate shop..brand you would want are enjoi, element (i know everyone wheres it like a poser, but the boards really arent bad), lakai, or girl. ive had a girl board for 1 year and i couldnt be happier. it still has its pop.
