Question:

Getting a tooth filed?

(File-d not filled) One of my premolars (I think) is kind of sharp at the end, but it keeps on scraping against the side of my tongue which makes it numb, so I know that filing it will help, but is there any downside to it? I mean, is there anything that I should know before doing it?

  1. Sometimes if the dentist removes too much of the enamel, your tooth might become sensitive. You might think about getting a  nightguard. Because after he reduces it, you might still bear down on your tongue, due to your bite, and again start to do it all over again.
