Question:

Getting a tooth pulled....?

My very back top tooth on the left hand side, before my wisdom teeth, needs to get pulled today. I went in so they could take a look at it friday and they scheduled me in today. Other than child labor I have never been in this much pain. My mouth, my head, my face... it just throbs with pain. I can't wait to get it pulled out. I guess the nerve is exposed all the way down to the bone? (That's just what the dr said... I don't know Exactly what it means) I cannot eat or drink. How long does it take for the pain to subside after the tooth is pulled? I would just love for this headache to go away, it's horrible.

  1. You will feel better right after he pulls it out. When you get home eat some Percocets and drinks some beers, you will be a new woman.

  2. I have had 5 teeth pulled but not one that has been causing me pain before. I think because they give you an injection to numb the area where they pull the tooth you will be in no pain as soon as the injection takes effect. You will be numb for a few hours after but i think once the tooth is removed you should be in no pain. Hope I helped :)
