Getting around as a kid?

i'm 13 and i wanna take these dance lessons at a place about 18 minutes driving away, the classes that i need are too early for my mom or dad to drive me but my mom thinks its too far for me to bike, any suggestions for how i can get there?

  1. If you're only 13, I don't think it's wise for you to go that far by yourself.. Don't ride your bike for sure.

    I'm surprised that your mom and dad didn't support you. If dancing is your passion, they should take you whether it's early or late. I used to take my daughter for piano lesson and it was farther than 18 minutes. Not including the time I had to hang around and waited for her while she was taking lessons.

    Ask your mom and dad again for help. Tell them this is important to you. I'm sorry  but I'm very disappointed at your parents. They should be happy that you're taking dancing lesson than hanging around the corner of the street.

    That's what the parents are there for. They suppose to support you, protect you and help you to achieve your goals even if they have to give up their selfishness.


  2. Perhaps you could take a bus? Or maybe if your parents are willing to give you cash every day you could take a taxi. You can usually get a taxi to come to your house. As for the riding there on your bike, it would probably take double the time it does in a car. So, if it takes 18 minutes it will take 36 minutes. If all else fails maybe you could get another family member or a family friend to take you.
