Getting attention???help?

Question

OK, so i have a twin and I am constantly overshadowed by her. In school, in sports, everything. I have tried to take up new things, but then she decides she wants to do it to, and ends up being better than me. In softball, we are both varsity starters, I am first base, but she is pitcher. We are both the only ones who play those positions on the team, but my sister gets all the credit. I seriously wish i would get hurt be out for a while, just so i can say, hey at least it wasnt kelly, your pitcher. Any suggestions? I love softball to death, but i am seriously considering giving it up my senior year, just to see if the coaches and players miss me and so i am not overshadowed. Any thoughts or suggestions. I would love not to give it up but I just dont know what to do.

try something new maybe new hair color shiny lip gloss.

new wardrobe..

Don't quit a sport, just because of that! If you love softball, that's what matters! I'm sure it sucks to be overshadowed but don't let her ruin something that you are passionate about.

Here's the thing... in less than a year, you will be in college and have a TOTALLY different life than your sis. No one will even know you are a twin unless you tell them! So look forward to that, because it will be fun.

Also, try some subtle hair\makeup\clothing changes to branch out from her off the field.

If you give it up, you will be over shadowed cuz you won't be playing.  Quit pittying yourself.  First base is a good position.  You can't always be the best at everything, but being really good is great too.  Don't try to compete w/ your sister - your on the same team, instead try to be happy about your accomplishments & hers.

your luckier than her. without any talents people wont like you for the wrong reason they'll like you for you. more people might like your twin but its probably becasue shes good at sports, at least you kno that people like you for you.
