Getting billed for magazines I did not order.?

If someone ordered several magazine subscriptions for me that I did not order and am getting billed for, if they did it through the internet, can the magazine find out who did it? If they can, would they find out and tell me who it is or would they simply just cancel the subscription with no further inquiry?

  1. Cancel the subscriptions and inform the folks that you did not order the mags and that federal postal laws state that anything you receive in the mail that you did not order is a gift when you've taken action to stop further shipments.

  2. An ex-boyfriend did that to me one time. He subscribed to a bunch of magazines in my name......so immature!!! I just wrote a note on the bill that said "cancel subscription" and returned it. The magazines stopped coming and I wasn't billed any more. You could also just call the company and explain the situation. I'm sure they'd understand. I hope you find out who did it.
